What happened when TVR designed the sp6 engine ? did they not test its durability ?
Im a bit miffed how can they build a superb car like the tuscan and let it down with an engine that needs a rebuild every say 20k???????

A rebuild every 20k miles would be pure joy for some owners.

The engine is acknowledged as being an excellent design barring one or two flaws, it seems to be the quality of some of the components which was very poor.

Many of the models are now within the budget of Joe average but being able to afford to maintain one is another matter.
