NICE MATE, LOOKS LIKE AN R32 WHICH IS NEVER A BAD THING! NOT SURE ABOUT ZORSTS ON DIESELS THOUGH, WEIRD SOUND! THEM DIESELS DONT HALF SHIFT WITH A REMAP THOUGH!

Thanks, but it has never been my intention to imitate an R32 as they look very different to mine, well apart from a smaller type of multispoke rim that is.

The zorst sounds awesome it has to be said, very pleased with that. Best way to describe the sound at idle and driving is to that of a Evo (believe it or not!)except a few dB quieter ofcourse. Shes becoming a little thorough-bred thesedays.

greenstuff in the bin. might as well put chocolate in...

uprate to bigger discs calipers and some Ferodo DS2500 or Mintex 1144

bleed system with some high temp fluid

Wheels look positively wrong with the current setup

other than that, nice looking.

oh, erm, all imho of course

Thanks for the comments. EBC are my first brake upgrade from the standard lot. They have plenty of bite but can fade.....!

Imagine if everyone had exactly the same taste in cars and modifications, the roads would be full of generic vehicles. Everyone likes different things on cars and thats what makes car discussion forums interesting.

Aaaa-cheers.

I do indeed, at pace prob drops to 38-41mpg, if your sensible 55mpg is quite regular.

Infact the fuel burn is now so efficient from Jabba, that even with a new "decat" pipe the MOT smoke test came out lower than ever before.

Whats the remap cost?

How big is the boot?

Actually....the remap probably only got portion of the extra BHP - whats the approx breakdown of the increases?

Right up to 175 on the remap alone?

Or were other mods done?

BTW: I like the wheels

Thanks - 175 and 318 is mapped with mods.

I had hoped for more HP but the torque is above what i expected!

Jabba were amazing, true professionals! They have all the knowledge, all the skills and all the kit in their huge premises.

Custom remap took 2+ hours, and 16-20 runs on the rollers later........ 175HP and 318 pounds feet torque.

HP restricted due to the torque being so high, was told it could have made 210HP and 360 pounds feet, but this would have been very silly without a few more modifications like clutch etc.

175 is a very respectable modest figure considering the full torque on tap right across the rev range. Jabba were every bit as good as I have heard.

The difference is incredible, and the HP and Torque curves are smoother than a baby's ass. Very impressed at the care taken not to push the limits, was set up very professionally with alot of time taken.

Mike explained that I didnt need the HP any higher, infact he hardly tweeked it, just concentrated on making the available torque smooth.

He said it was one of the nicest and smoothest GT TDI 130 remaps he has done, with hardly ANY smoke!

175 is a nice round figure anyway and the torque is the main bit for a diesel, which i love

mike also said "if" i wanted more - a hybrid turbo and internals, clutch, intercooler etc..are the next things to do. But it will hold its own with most now he said.

well, that was a bit harsh and wasn't totally clear. what I meant was the brakes under the wheels make appear (to me) to be too small, hence the larger disc suggestion
The wheels themselves a rather smart.

Its been setup to be within safe tollerance for the OEM clutch. Hence why its limited to 318lbft of torque.
