Think you need to drill out the remains of the plug (sticky out thingy) from inside the roof panel, then insert and bond a replacement.

Edited to add, I guess the best quick fix is to leave the roof off and enjoy the sunshine and not worry about it!

I've got the same problem but with the passenger side panel - can you get replacement lugs? Can you get replacement panels if needed?

Nice idea to keep the roof off but tricky when you haven't got a garage.

As stated aboe, the only fix that will work is to drill out the remains of the old lugs and bond in new ones. Did it with lugs on my roof and they are now 'rock solid'. E-mail me on john.namork@no.abb.com if you need detail instructions on how to do it properly. I got my new Targa Location Lugs: part.no. 026U249A, from Tower View Race Services in London.

Cheers, John
