bought my tent on saturday for this event, which will be the first time at Le Mans and first time camping (although prbably have a practice camping night somewhere first) cant wait to go now. hopefully get tickets sorted soon, already booked ferry.

Yay bounce

I've got a tent (3 tents in fact!), but I need a gazebo and some comfy chairs small enough to fit in a Mini before I go hehe

Easy: comfy up the seats in the mini and take some tools with you!

A fine tent it is too.

Have you put it up yet?

If you can put it up in the dark, rain and wind it will be a doddle at Le Mans.

I will be getting one of these "3 seconds air" tents from Decathlon I think... Just chuck them in the air and hey presto, they're up. Not to be tried around here these days though, you'd never see it again!

You need to be drunk for the ultimate 'Le Mans Simulation'

It was a race to see if I could get drunk before getting the tent sorted last year. It didn't work, as I was the driver and the tent only took 5 mins normally... although down there it did take the best part of an hour and about half a dozen beers

It has been mooted that we might have a practice camping night out behind a pub with a camping field so that should fulfil this requirement if we call in the pub first.
Later today would be a good time to try the dark, rain and wind but I think i'll give that a miss. Haven't bought any batteries for the torch yet.
