I know its 105db but how strict is this?? Ive never raced anything as loud as the cerb!!

But how close do you need to be. My road cerb is about 121db so id assume that would be way to high??

very as in they are very strict.... over 105 and you'll be very lucky to get out... 106 maybe if their in a good mood but you need to get it under 105 to be sure you dont have a problem...


the ajp tuscans manage it so its easily possible in a cerb,

I managed a cracking 92db at Rockingham this last season...shift at 5000rpm your 'onor...

Bear in mind that each 3dB is *twice* as loud, so your 121dB is 16dB over, which is as near as makes no difference 40 times the limit. IME they might let you off with 1 or 2 dB, if you're lucky, depending on venue, but 16dB? Never in a million years.

On my Cerb, de-cat with a standard box is 103 to 105 depending on where? With ACT additional cans 98. You obviously have a decat with the two independant sports exhausts.
No difference in power.

My road one is just a straight through system. Just not sure what to put on the racer yet. The standard back box seems a bit heavy.
