Carole finally picked up her new Cooper S tonight and I'm keeping the old PH Mini as my runabout. Off to celebrate now, pictures later.

Wow, that was fun. Was told to keep it under 3.5k revs for the first 200 miles. Yes, like I can manage that! Okay, so it's not TVR fast but it's sooo much fun. Pics will follow when I can keep it stationary for long enough!!

That will take a while then, I've had mine for months now and I still don't have a single photo of it.

This is my Mini, the PH support vehicle that I adopted yesterday when my missus Carole (stardust) got her new MCS.

Well, I suppose I have to say it, the Mini just isn't doing it for me.

Despite travelling the length of Britian to find the perfect one with every option I required (the reversing sensors weren't strictly required, but it had them on anyway), I'm just not in love with it.

So, it's going to get put in the classifieds and I'm going to get another V8, but not another Cerb and not another TVR but it will be a 4.2, so there's your clue.

Just a shame that the the first photo's I take of it will be it's for sale photo's.

Audi Allroad 4.2 V8 - probably not

Maserati 4200 GT or possibly the Quattroporte or Spyder - I do hope so but I doubt it

VW Touareg 4.2 V8 - Not one of these

Jaguar XK Coupe 4.2 V8 - not your style

My money is firmly on the Audi RS4 4.2 V8

Yeah, like I have £40k to spend on a car hehe

Do you not realise my children think my disposable income is their pocketmoney?

Definitely an Audi though. A4, S4, A8, S8? One of that variety

Knowing my wife, she'll probably change her mind another twenty times by the time we sell the Mini, so in fact, it could be anything.

Just like you Ian, I know who wears the trousers in our house - and it isn't me!
