Has anyone used an ECU from Haltech?
How good are they?
I will need the E11v2 due to the five cylinders, does anyone have any expereince of this or other ECUs with a five pot?
Thanks...

Maybe if you are a little more patient, someone can answer

Have you tried contacting Haltech support ?? They are usually extremely helpful.

OR..

Contact Grant Parker who works in AET Turbos www.aet-turbos.co.uk/

He runs an E11 in his Audi powered golf.

I will probably be fitting one to an S6 later this year, but it is a few months off.

I have a spare E6X - though you'll need the 11 as I think it has to be run in 10 cylinder mode. The DTA P8 has a setup for the Audi 5 cylinder - check their site for info, burried in the manual. The setup is really strange and I never got my head around the logic of it.

The P8pro can indeed fire 5, although it wont do it sequentially as far as I know. No big deal though.

I would imagine their new range of ecu's could do similar, and are supposed to be a big improvement over the P8.

Ive only fitted a Haltech E8 to a Cossie and a Subaru, and I quite like them.

or you could try one of these instead. I've heard good things about them but never tried one. www.adaptronic.co.uk/
