Honda Civic 1.6 Sport

Hi guys , new to the Honda forum. I am currently looking for a nice, reliable motorway muncher and came across the facelift (2004-) Civic sport. Will admit I was not keen on any Civic that did not look like the Type-R, but then came across the Sport - 42mpg, Insurance Group 6, 0-60 in 10.3 (not bad from a 1.6) and £8k.

If anyone has a Sport I would appreciate any comments about the car. Please, no suggestions that I get a Type-R. I would love to but cannot afford to run it!

They are the sensible choice without the insurance worries of the Type R.

Obviously it doesn't go or stop in such an exciting way but if it's mainly for motorway miles you can't go wrong with a reliable, well engineered motor like this.
