Looking for some wing mirrors for a 1981 280 Taz, anybody got any up for grabs?

Try posting in the S forum on PH. The first S's were fitted with the same mirrors as the Wedge, and I read that some owners have been upgrading them since they didn't quite look right on the S's. I pointed Mr Tank in this direction and I think he happily may have sourced some!!!

Failing that, you can still buy the more modern flared pods new from TET, who make all the fibreglass Wedge panels. I'm sure that with a little trial and error, you could get the correct shaped mirror glass cut, and then come up with a home made mount to secure it to the pods.

Are you looking for the originals or just something to fit and that look OK???

Yes try the S lads.I got a set from one of them. They were fitted on some early s'es.

What car did the wing mirrors actually come from. My 83 wedge is in dire need of a pair of new ones. Electric with the pod in the drivers door, matt black on the outside though starting to corrode.

Anyone know?

I will look into it, the S forum looks like the best place.
All I would like were some mirrors that look nice on the car.
The car does not have any at the mo, due to I am fully restoring the car back to as it was back in 1981

The bits which corrode can be replaced with new covers from TET mouldings. Then they will never corrode again!!!!!!!
