surprised that theres no counter strike thread on this forum so it may as well start here

hopefully we could organise some ph gathering on a well known public server or if you have you own that could be used

i mainly play cz (better graphics and as good gameplay as 1.6) but will play 1.6 if thats where the majority resides

no point bothering about source though as its shit.

I've played all the releases since the very very early days, and ok im not a hardcore user but I dont mind source...

its playable but you get a sense that it doesn't require any skill to play. i mean i'm shit really but on source i can variably get massive scores for no real effort

plus it gets boring

it just does not compare with 1.6 or cz (been playing for 4/5 years now)

I'm always up for abit of CS. Haven't played for a while as I've been transfixed by the X360.

and yes, source is bad.

and pony, check out www.cspromod.com. they are taking the source engine and basically emulating 1.5 and 1.6 gameplay onto it. hopefully will become the new stand for professional counterstrike.

I primarily play CS:S on the GoG (grumpy old gits) server or the Yorkshire CS:S servers.

Don't mind playing 1.6 once in a while but I must admit I do prefer source.

Hey cs friends! Well, im a css player. I really dont think cz is good at all but im willing to play.

I’m always up for some Cs action, I only seem to play source nowadays... when I get a chance.

But it would be good to get a match going using our PH id's so we know who were shooting at....

I seem to play on the Southampton server, or a server called Monkeys...something... (Umm can’t remember now)

Anyway, who wants to arrange a time when we all can meet up on one server?

My preferences would be:

Cs source
Anytime in the evenings except tonight (Topgear )
No map preference

ill be up for a game of either, used to play alot of the YUK server phil is on about but for some reason ive not been able to get on it the past 2 weeks, says CL_Restrict error or somthing, no problems with any other servers though.

I can't beleive your all source players. Is anyone else playing cz at all? its almost exactly the same as 1.6 with semi source graphics, give it a try.
