Thing is, why do Offord put the car up for sale like that? It's a Ford fitment after all, so surely it wouldn't be too much of a bother putting the car on proper wheels and sell the blingtastic examples off to the MP/gangsta crowd on Ebay? That's two easy sales (and very probably, more cash in your pocket) rather than making life difficult for yourself...

I've spent hours and hours researching new wheels for my Chimaera and though i haven't got any yet, i have narrowed it down to a couple of wheels which will look good. I've photoshop'd the wheels onto the car so i know what the end result will be.

Can only assume the owner of this car saw a pimped up 4x4 on massive bling wheels and though 'they look good, i'll get some for my Chim'!!!

I was in Offords when I was looking around for a Chim, to be honest imho they look worse in real life as the arches don't look filled. I guess someone will like them though..............

I fail to see why people change the wheels, I think they are stunning. I don't recall ever having seen a set of non-standard alloys on the Chimaera that I liked.

Damn right - this car used to be local to me. The photos flatten the 3-d effect of the spokes which in real life make them look plain daft - god-damn awful IMHO.
