All being well I will be attending. I know that it is probably a bit early to think about CLM 2008 but is anybody else going?

Thinking of a hotel room close by, rather than camping.

A bit early to think about that, but I plan to go too, after seeing this year's videos... And I will be camping too.

Freddie. Try this place. Been staying here for the last 10 years for 2 weeks over the 24 hr race period.
Very good accommodation, good food and all the people who stay are there for race reasons.
Just a thought

Me, missed the usual Le Mans last year, doubt i'll get there this year either. But will defo be up for CLM in 08. Will do the camping as it will probably be rather civilised compared to the usual LM camping.

If some sort of PH CLM group appears to be gathering momentum, I would be interested in joining in.

Yes, we'll be there but will be going again with the MSCC. Don't know if it is open to non-Morgan's, but it is very well-organised and I can recommend it.

Looking into doing this instead of the chav-fest that the 'normal' Le Mans has become, all a bit early for me to be planning anything though.

If you're suffering from withdrawal symptoms in July try the LM story. Not the full circuit or overnight and a much more French feel but worth going for its relaxed atmosphere.

It used to be the next in the sequence but I think a mod deleted it.

I'm another big fan of the LM Classic. It's totally different in character to the 24hrs (for good or ill).

I wasn't convinced by the change of date to July from September, I thought this would allow the ACO to keep the infrastructure from the 24hrs (such as the temporary grandstands) in place, but by the time the Classic rolled into town it was all taken down.

As there are a lot of different arrangements for travel and accomodation how about a PistonHeads CLM Dinner sometime during the event?

Edited to add: Or long, relaxed French luncheon.

Hopefully I'll be there with quite a few friends stopping at a campsite not a million miles away with bar/restaurant/swimming pool and lots of space.(unlike the track hehe)
