On the road again..
Discussion
Just got my Tuscan back from Fernies after fitting a new clutch. I decided on one of the improved SP6 clutches from Raceproved (via Clever Trevor) rather than the TVR Craft option as I didn't really want a "race spec" clutch for day-day driving etc and wanted to have a straight like-for-like replacement rather than modifying the bell-housing etc, etc.
Anyway, the bite is a lot smoother and whilst the friction plate seems to need a little "bedding-in" I reckon it is a much better unit. I had just over 23K miles on the standard clutch and Bryan told me that he was doing 2 others this week too - both of which were apparently either side of the generic 25Kmiles(ish) lifetime landmark.
Anyway, just thought I would share. Big bill but needed to be done...
