CCTV Cars to Tackle Parking Problems ....
Discussion
My bullshit-o-meter just banged off the scale:
>"We are introducing this new measure to improve traffic hotspots which have been highlighted as having safety concerns," he said.
"For instance, we have had a number of complaints of illegal parking around schools which is potentially very dangerous."
"Once compliance has been achieved in one area, the CCTV cars can move on to another traffic hotspot."
Translation - we are deploying this new measure because its more efficient than a traffic warden, and earns more revenue.

At least they're giving people a couple weeks of warnings so they can learn to park, before they start issuing penalties.
Judging by the feeble atteptes to park by some, when sat in pub with mates watching silly fools climb the curb and taking numerous atttepts to park before either dumping the car awkwardly or abandoning the space, they're going to need more than a couple of weeks, more like a couple of lifetimes.
