Got an nice 1980 308GTB which is in great condition - but am loath to use it in this weather - poor thing is stuck in the garage.. can anyone recommend any preventative treatment companies/treatments that would enable me to use it, at least occasionally through the winter without causing any damage?

Or should i not do it, leave it clean, and not drive it? values affected etc.,- any thought gratefully received

If you have bought this car for the long haul why not just sit the winter out and wait for the better weather. This is what i do, but by my own admission i am like an old woman where this car is concerned.
On the other hand if you are only keeping the car for a short while do whatever makes you happy. It will not do the car any good but i guess that will only provide concern for future owners.

ta - yes, don't really want it coated in the mucky stuff.. and a future buyer may be reluctant if they can't see the underside clearly.. guess i'll just have to be patient..
