Took my 540 into Ascot BMW yesterday (safety recall, something about the steering lock) and on the way there had a bit of a play with a 335Ci. When i got there, parked next to a 335Cd.

First impressions, it's pretty quick off the mark!
Secondly, it's so much prettier than the current 4 door. Subtle and stylish.
Thirdly, i'm loving the interior. Very BMW of course, without being dull.

Anyone got one, driven one, ordered one?

The new coupe shape is growing on me, but I think it heavily depends on the colour. I saw a lovely Interlagos (??) Blue one on the Embankment this morning - stunning. Very sleek and modern. Unbadged, though, so I've no idea what engine it was. And he let me push-in in front of him at Westminster! thumbup

Look for one exhaust on each side for a 335 i or d.
Twin chromed exhausts on the left for a 330 i or d.
Twin unchromed exhausts on one model? 325i?

Thanks! It was a 330 then. No clouds of black smoke either, so guessing it was petrol hehe

I'm a very happy owner of a 335d - went for the 19inch alloys as I think it makes the car look much more purposeful and sporting.

In eBay speak it gets a AAA+++ rating from me

The desiel infact has a DPF on the coupe so no black smoke either.

I've got a 335i coupe very happy with it!

Was in W.Sussex the other day and got a chance to try it on some twisty bits. Chassis is very sorted and torque is immense.

I have the auto but have found a big difference in throttle response between regular and sport mode so have ended up leaving it in sport a lot.

On motorway get about 28 mpg.

What do you think of the plastic arm that hands you the seat belt?

One less thing to do.

The plastic arm is a great invention!

It is a bit of gimic - but it saves bending round to get it yourself!

I am looking at getting a 325i coupe in March...

For some reason, I am erring towards metallic black with red leather!!

Have they stopped making 330is now? Not sure why but I thought the model was deleted? (I've got a 330i 4 door so this is just curiosity)

I'm sure they can't possibly stop the 330i? The engine has only been around for a couple of years!

Ooh - I actually passed a sparkling graphite with coral red car on the M25 today and that was taking the lead, but I think I am back onto black again!

Are they 17" or 18" wheels?

There the stock 17's. I think there quite plain but I only keep my cars for 11 months so I ont mind too much. On the plus there really easy to clean!!!!!!!!

I keep saying it but this is a really great car, take the RF tyres of and it would be unbelievable!! IMHO

I'll be keeping it 2 years (lease car) and as it has to go back on RFs, I plan to buy a new set of wheels and non RF tyres in a couple of months so will let you know what it drives like (probably go for 18s).
