Was doing some research on the subject, and found this build site of this Mr2 Mk3 conversion :

There's a bit on this kit on Totalkitcars site today.
www.totalkitcar.com/news.php

It doesn't look too bad, The 360 kits seem to finally be coming down to
the 355 kit money. Still not my cup of tea, but each to there own.

Yes they do, in fact I wonder why they widened the car so much?, maybe to make it look closer to the original.

I'm not sure that is the route i would take in doing a replica.

I can't really see why you'd choose to do this to a car that is not completely unattractive in the first place - the end result looks very unconvincing (seems to be the wheel sizes and panel fit around the front of the doors that spoil it) - surely better (and less embarrassing) results could be achieved by making a body conversion in a new style rather than trying to copy an existing car.

I totally agree with you on this, this platform lends itself perfectly to numerous body conversions.....can't say more, .

Absolutely - I don't really 'get' the replica thing but each to their own.

[chav] Is that a Ferrari mister?
[replica driver] well .... not really
[chav] Is it as fast as a Ferrari?, does it handle the same?
[replica driver] well .... not really

... and so on

Is it me or does that door look as if it doesn't fit?
