Picked up my p&j from JZM this afternoon and immediately saw cool why they had parked it right at the very end of the row. It must have been the only car without GT3,GT2,Turbo or RS on the back of it rotate!

Mine would have been the black MK1 with the black wheels, getting it back tomorrow after service and some maintenance work on suspension. Been without it now for 2 weeks and am starting to get withdrawal symptoms.

Yep, my Mk2 GT3 is there too having an exhaust manifold crack dealt with - very efficiently to boot. Picking it up later today (Sat) ready for first track outing of the season next Saturday at Silverstone with Gold Track. Can't wait.

Saw the black mark 1 with black wheels whilst getting the geo checked today. Very nice. Also a black GT3 with RS/Manthey wing that I fancy.

Shame I developed a misfire on the way home, have to miss tomorrow's date with Silverstone.

All very nice wheels guys thumbup

Mine was only in for two days and I was itching to get it back - two weeks is a bit long, a track day or two will surely make up for lost time.

So that was the highlight of my day in all things Porsche, seeing a coffee cup holder (complete with starbucks cup) drink in a Turbo later on, didn't quite give me the same warm and fuzzy.

Drive back from JZ (after the trip up in a 1.2 Nova) reminded me what I love about my car. Had a bit of fun with a guy in a Saab who didn't realise that undertaking a GT3 is not the smartest move in the book, particularly when said GT3 was being baulked by a lady in a Volvo estate. For one minute I think the Saab driver thought that he had put one over on the mighty porker and that he had got away. I gave him half a mile start and then dropped a cog and squeezed the loud pedal. Saabman kept going at it but he eventually pulled over to see a streak of black going passed at about 14mph and still accelerating (oops zero key is apparently not working).

Basically an uneven contest I know, also rather childish but M25 was emptyish and oooohhhh it was such fun.

Nice isn't it. Got the car just need the wing now, (and repainted wheels for the full effect.)

Does anyone know if this car has the front bumper (RS) cooling mod? Doesn't look like it, but I thought it was necessary to balance the downforce front/rear...

s3am, if you mean does it have the RS front PU fitted, yes it does.

You are correct - the car in the pic is my car and it has the front cooling conversion and RS PU (and a few other choice Manthey upgrades as well ).

Kind regards

Steve

Congratulations, looks superb. Has it had the Manthey 410 engine mods?
