As most of you in this forum will know, last year I sold my Countach and bought a Diablo GT. This was immediately shipped off to the factory for a service and a general checkover, as the previous owner had hardly used it during the previous 2 years (shame on you Tony). Well the car finally came back yesterday and I am still so excited I'm fit to bust and want to climb on the roof and shout it out to the world. However, not being a very good climber, and trying to maintain a modicum of decorum, I thought I would show off by just posting a few piccies in here. Hope that's OK with you lot.

Remember TW being speechless himself when he first had the car - something of a miracle in itself!!

Much the same 'quietened' response here in breezy Lancashire now and not for the first time re. this car!

A car that really shows passion beyond any amount of reason...

BELLA MACCHINA!! Forza Lamborghini!!

I sooo respect you and shoebag for having cars like these, AND driving them ! (unlike some owners).

Hope to see this on some tunnel runs as well

You silver tongued wordsmith David. Here's to seeing the car at a few more Lambo events in the future. (Or at least that's the intention)

Rarity aside, how do the GTs compare to a Murcielago eg. in terms of performance ?

No idea, never driven a Murcielago (mind you haven't driven the GT yet either, as it has no tax or MOT )

What a wonderful, beautiful monster! And how intimidating too - I can only imagine how mental it would feel to drive such a machine, especially being a LHD and all.

re. Diablo GT v Murciélago

... not sure about that, (must be some definitive numbers around here somewhere), but distinctly remember TW trying desperately to keep up with my Jarama S in 2002 on some of the roads in West Sussex and only getting past me because I let him.

It's my birthday today and I can tell as many utterly outrageous lies and completely unlikely bloody fibs as I want to... especially at my (new) age - pass me another of those Sanatogen cocktails please

Lisa. Looks fab, mate. I've the the GT ever since it came out.
Now, if you can dig up another 150K for an EB110 you'd own my two favourite cars ever. I hope you do what Chrissie and I did and sit in it and sip a well earned glass of bubbly!
