400SE Boot Release - umm HELP!!!!

Hi all,

Decided to take the wedge out for a run this afternoon, as I haven't driven it in two months! Thought I'd give the heater a go (for all the good it does)

Anyhow, the heater fan stopped working and when I got home the boot release wouldn't work either. Searching through previous posts, it seems that the two are on the same fuse. Is this right?

Umm and more importantly, please please please, how do I get in my boot? Need my roof!

I will have a look at the fuses tomorrow, but to save time any idea which fuse it is?

So many questions, sorry guys!

Happened to me a couple of months ago. It was the fuse.

Hi Rev,

Yep got into the boot, didn't need to use the manual method in the end. Turned out to be the fuse.

Now building up a little emergency box (fuses etc), which I'm keeping in the err boot.

Every time this problem crops up, I think I must ask somebody to send me the manual method to open the boot. But I've always forgotten to. Can somebody please email the details, as I'm sure I'll need them in the future? Thanks.
