Er, I have some footage but cannot really upload as the video shows my speed! I made a similar mistake on the Lotus forum when I uploaded footage of me driving around country lanes - didn't think the law could use motor video footage not taken by them? Tempted to send you all the link cop

Took the footage down from 200MB to 15MB using Windows Movie Maker - quality appears the same to me...

It's good though, very pleased with the camera...

Maybe I could YouTube it?

I think they can use it but they'd need to be able to prove who was driving, which would probably be their main sticking point. I'm not sure if they'd also need to be able to prove where/when it was, then there's the issue of speedo calibration. So it's probably safe enough.

Had they stopped you on the day and seen the camera that's another issue - plenty of those prosecutions, but I've never heard of anyone prosecuted on the basis of an uploaded video.

Is it an electronic speedo? Hope you didn't leave it on km/h

Edit : If you don't want to post your footage, then why not post up the link of a friends footage?

Note the quality is down a little because of YouTube.

I bought one last 2 weeks ago. not sure how you compress the video though? tips? also on the first try connected it to the wing mirror whcih was ok but not stable. then used the rubber strap and fitted it to my lid. ok until going slow through a village and it fell into my lap. thank god for that. so be careful you connect to right

Bear in mind youtube shrinks the quality down to 320x240, whereas the ATC2000 records at double that - 640x480.

So where is the best place to get one from?

The raw footage is better quality as it's 480 - as mentioned in one of the replies, YouTube shrinks it down.

I used Windows Movie Maker - appears that when you save the video out from Movie Maker, the file size is decreased which is a bonus! The footage looks the same quality to me even though the file size is smaller so happy days.

Pleased with the cam - stuff like cleaning my screen would obviously improve the quality

Hope to take some footage when I'm out with my friends on Sunday. I've had a sudden feeling of guilt though - should I be filming this stuff, I turn into a bad man when I put me leathers on!
