i for one hope Kiyonari keeps his title, hes a great rider and showed some brilliance last year, and although he had some bad luck too im glad he won, i was even routing for him at the last race of the season, although i left after race one, the weather got far too crappy for my liking.

Lets face it if you're a race fan all the riders are brilliant. I don't care who wins as long as the racings good, and it usually is.
I thought it was a bit out of order that Kyonari was booed on the podium when he picked up the title. Of course we'd have liked a Brit to win it, but as you say some of Kyonari's performances were masterful, and he deserved the championship.
As for this year, I'd like to see Walker win it
He was robbed back in the 750 days at Donnington and after his solo WSB win it'd do his career no harm at all
Plus I've met him and he's a really nice bloke.
So GO WALKER.

i wasnt saying i would be dissapointed if any of the other riders win at all, healthy competition is always great, and i think BSB is great racing, certainly much more interesting than WSB which is all set to be "World Ducati racing" as of 2008,actully saying that most serires will be because of the V twin capicity hike that they have forced through, then many teams may well sadly lose factory backing again like what happened in the end of the 750cc inline vs 1000cc twin days, dont get me wrong the 1098s a great bike but in my opinion Ducati should just ditch the V twin line and build a 1000cc V4 superbike instead which would easily be as good if not better than the inlines without vieing for constant capacity hikes.

As per each year I got to every round other than the Irish (washed out anyway) and knockhill.
The racing was some of the best I have seen in several years and I am really looking forward to this year.
I am not a Honda fan, but I really wanted to see Kiyo win the title, in deference to most of the people of paddock hill bend at the last round. Kiyo should have won the previous year, and as dominant.
I was just up from Edwina's when he crashed in the first race at Mallory, and that cost him 4 rounds woth of points. I thought he deserved it that year, and it was great he got it this year. He has been one of the classiest riders for 3 years.
I was pretty disgusted to be a race fan to hear people booing, it was a sad reflection on what are som eof the best race fans in the world
Lavilla is quality, no doubt. Haslam doesn't seem to have learnt how to win, what it takes to go that extra yard yet, and I hope he does for this year.
This could be the greatest year we have seen, Lavilla and Haslam are on 1 year old bikes, but I think that will make little difference due to the nature of the British tracks, excepting a few, and therefore they should have less emchanical issues, although as a Team they don't generally suffer. Walker on a Suzuki, and if his run out at the mallory end of year race is anything to go by, and with Walkers attitude, he'll be there. Kiyo and Rea make for a formidable partnership.
This year I really hope Haslam does it. I think it's time he stepped up and won the championship, by leading from the front and not at occasional circuits. I would like to see a British winner.
Testing starts on the 24/25th March, and we'll see who quick then.
Who else will be at Brands Hatch on April 9th then ?? We'll be there, either on Paddock Hill or inside at Druids ...
Got the following 3 weekends planned this year and can't wait ...
20th May BSB Snetterton (home circuit, not local anymore)
27th May WSB Silverstone
3rd June MotoGP at Mugello !!

Brilliant race craft displayed by all the riders every round, but I would like to see more of the privateers getting some glory on TV, not just the big boys. The privateers also have fantastic racecraft and most struggle to remain in the series through lack of funds. Zak Barry springs to mind, bl00dy fast and skillful, getting onto the privateers podium first time out, very impressive indeed.
