Only 9 days into TVR ownership CLUTCH GONE!
Discussion
Only had my 2001 Tuscan 9 days and the clutch gave up on me today Fortunatly i bought the car with 1 years warranty! Phew been reading the threads and posts about the clutch is the clever trevor upgraded one the best i can fit ? (I do more road driving than track days )
Strange though how if it was any other car i would be going mad by now but it was sort of expected ?

Mine also went after I'd only driven it about 500 miles. Go for the raceproved/clevor trevor clutch and slave cylinder package. (Wish it was available at the time
)
It sould get rid of your clutch worries for good.
There is an alternative from TVR Craft but that's more of a racing clutch so isn't really suitable for the needs you describe.

Excellent News!! Glad I could help.
How does the new clutch feel compared to the original?
Out of interest, how much did the whole lot come to in the end and how long did you have to wait?

Compared to the original it is much better and much easier to select reverse (even with the forward gear first trick) the total cost of the kit including the slave was £617.47 it took about a week the whole cost is hard for me to say as alot of it was paid by the warrenty that came with the car (thank god !)

Out of interest, how many miles had the last clutch covered?
The last clutch (the original one) covered 28k miles from new .
Sorry to hear of your clutch problems ..but 28k hey thats good.
Mines had 3 in 30K last one lasted 16000 miles no fingers or springs failing etc ..
Burnt the plates out..
I treat the car with kid gloves never abuse the engine etc just like Luca Brazzi

They are not expected to last much beyond 22-25k miles.
