I am new to the world of Porsche ownership...and I am trying to get a feel for the cars and the folks that drive them.
Is it fair to say that the air cooled boys are like the Amish of PA.
Just seems we are worlds apart due to how our cars are cooled, and the fact that Porsche now make money for Porsche, which before they werent very good at.
I would love to know what all the beef is about..is it maybe tribal/cultish?? Bit like soccer?

It is all a bit of 'Banter'. The newer cars are very good and are almost better in most respects. I have had a GT3 RS 996 before but oddly moved it own, I don't know why but I enjoy the older engines and the older cars more- its just what you get to like. The best whiskys are left in the barrel's to soak up the air.........But seriously the new stuff is Mega, especially GT3 ('Kettle') and the like.
