So my insurance is due (again).

Going to give Sky a ring to see what the renewal is - but has anyone else got any suggestions for the following requirements.

'96 imported GT-Four
Modified
Agreed value required
2 drivers (both over 25), both with full NCD
Alarmed and garaged
Not used for work
Something like 1000 miles a year on the road

Obviously, with it being a toy these days, I'm looking at not spending a lot.

Hi MrE, long time no see etc. wavey
Have you tried A plan yet? I don't have personal experience with them, but I know of plenty of other Jap imported & modified beasties that seem happy enough with them.

sky, a-plan and Flux are the normal suspects.
most ask for bloomin written quotes now, but if they want your business, they'll match what you have anyway...

Good news. Agreed value, all the usual gubbins, £400.

Bad news. That's still something like 30p a mile in insurance alone. My insurance costs are actually more than my fuel costs.
