Beautiful colour - I stopped to give you a wave as you pulled out of the station. Suspect your number plate styling means you get pulled a few times by the BIB though hehe

Herr Frankenstein begins work on his monster next Saturday!!! Gotta take the car to TVR Power in Coventry for 11am where Dom while test the engine for faults - compression test etc and all being well he'll start work on it on the Monday. It'll take 2 weeks to do apparently.

D'you know, I took the car out today for the 1st time in 4 weeks and the acceleration just blew me away! I'd got used to driving 'lesser' cars in that time so when I jumped in the Chim and floored it I was gobsmacked!

Made me wonder whether I wasn't wasting my money on the SC but then I'm now already committed. Paid a deposit, booked the car in etc. Fingers crossed that I get an improvement in performance worth the extra dosh.

Hi Ian,
I know what you mean 'bout not driving the tiv for a few weeks, even after 4 years of ownership,I swear like a looney when I hit the loud pedal for the first time, especially after a bit of a winter lay-up.

I'm sure your hard earned is well spent on the blower conversion, I do believe that it's illegal not to take such an opportunity if it arises. Look forward to hearing about it.

BTW the Griff is fine, tucked up in a garage at the mo. It's me with the problem, just had a hernia op and can't drive for 3 weeks

Good luck at TVR Power,

Derek

I'm sure I knew that - but I've got a memory like a goldfish (and matching tackle according to Chris).

Resting up in bed I'll bet, meals on a tray, TV remote on the bedside table, intercom to the kitchen for when you fancy a nice cuppa. Makes a Hernia almost seem worthwhile

'bout time I had a dose of man-flu myself hehe

Anyway, hope you have a speedy recovery and I look forward to seeing you up and about soon.
