Drunk driving on a bicycle?

Saw a couple of bicycles parked outside our local pub today. I was just wondering if the riders could be done for drunk driving if they were over the limit and driving carelessly?

Not only for riding whilst unfit but also can be done for being in charge whilst drunk.

Does this apply if riding off road? We have often been to the boozer and hardly been able to walk but somehow managed to ride home.

it seems to work OK if you can ride downhill back but its difficult cycling uphill. ....and the bruises only hurt the next day. Not done this for a long time I hasten to add.
