Rob,

drove right past you yesterday about 4.40pm on the M1 Northbound, around Junction 7. Would have waved if i was in the 360, but thought it would have been weird some bloke waving from his rent a barge 7 Series.

Car looked and sounded great, taking it quite leisurely though????

Hi mate, vaguely remember a 7 series coming past,is it black? Was being tailed by an annoying nob in an audi A4 cab, thought he might come past eventually if i took it steady.

No the one i have is silver. Hopefully for not too long, looked at an M6 today. When they get down to 55k, i'm going to get a black one.

Just worked out you would have been on the way back from the failed Egham meet.

Yep, had been in to town afterwards to see an old friend.

M6 will be nice , mate has the 645 convertible - nice cars.

Not a fan of the old M5's tho.

Must be honest havent seen many people 'bounce' their idea around before they buy an SLR,etc Been plenty of cancelled 430 orders about - thought you were going to put some of the guys (Roger,etc) in touch with them?

Both cars not suitable for me, looking for Roger's spec but not prepared to pay a premium

Rob, think your well out of order, leave the guy alone. Not all of us can afford to chop and change our cars every week but atleast he's getting genuine feedback on potential purchases.

Jonny, just ignore him. Is the plan still to go with the SLR in the long term? if yes I'll happily take the diablo off your hands.

Have you thought about a Murci roadster? Might be easier to get than a rosso crema 430 coupe.

Not a case of what can and cant afford Kam, if you watch the market you can change cars regularly without losing money, or if your even cleverer you'll do like others do - just talk about them and you wont lose a bean.
