I was looking to buy a new video card and after seeing a good deal on an XFX Geforce 6600gt, I bought it, but forgot to check connectivity. I still use a CRT monitor and the new card only has two DVI connections.

Does anyone know where I can get a DVI to D-sub cable, or is there even a chance that the card comes with one?

Thanks in advance.

The cards often ship with DVI->DSub adaptors...

You need to ensure that its a DVI-I output

If its Digital only, you'll have no joy...

I thought most video cards these days have DVI-I outputs as opposed to DVI-D.

edit: according to the XFX website it just says Dual DVI. rolleyes

www.microdirect.co.uk/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=11850

According to that its DVI-I and according to a spec sheet on another site it comes with two DVI to VGA converters.

Sorry I should've been more specific. This was the one I was looking at.

But it seems similar to the one you mention above so hopefully I'll be ok.
