Anybody use Jeyo Mobile Extender with a smartphone?

It's an Outlook plugin that lets you manage your SMSes and contacts, my brother uses it and likes it.
I have downloaded the trial but I'm having problems with it - seems to work OK, but when connecting and copying the SMSes into Outlook it comes up with "unable to create folder". It seems to have copied most stuff apart from my SMS Inbox after a certain date.
If I use the Remote Manager to view the SMSes on the phone, all the other folders work apart from the Inbox - all my most recent SMSes appear, but at a point in the past they seem to be corrupt and don't display correctly after this.
I've uninstalled/reinstalled/rebooted/reconnected phone etc., all to no avail.
Jeyo also do a program called Mobile Companion which does pretty much the same thing without the Outlook integration (standalone program) - this prog works perfectly
So nothing is corrupted anywhere... Don't suppose anybody has a clue do they? Jeyo's support forum is down...
