I know this has been talked about allot on many forums.. But what is a QV worth at the moment.. I dont see any advertised and im thinking of selling mine.. I quite fancy a LP640 so my Diablo SV might have to go as well...

Hi

VERY Tricky one to answer! - but I have followed Countach prices VERY carefully for the last 4 years.
It all boils down to condition / history / milage and so on.....

This is what I (in my personal opinion) have come up with at todays prices.

LP400 = £100,000 Upwards! and still climbing!

LP500 = £30,000 restoration project. £35,000 Good condition. £40,000 V good condition.
Over the last 18 months LP500 has seen a small increase.

QV = £40,000 Fair amount to be done! £50,000 v good. £60,000ish Mint condition.
Over the last two years good examples of QV have steadily increased.

Anniversary = I think this one has been covered in another forum!!!

I'm sure we have all seen examples for more (and less) than these prices.
But I think the ones I have "suggested" here are fair.

Best Regards

Ian

Hi Ian

I think i may have to make a decision to sell.. I want a LP pretty bad but the one thing that i keep reminding myseld is that the LP will loose money.. But the QV will go up and the SV is about bottomed out now.. I wish i had the money to have all three!!!!

i got the bug too, thought about cashing everything in for a 640, even the wife agreed. then i thought hold on my current stuff isn't really losing any money and what will happen to 640's once the newer cars keep coming online? the jury is currently out, i'm gonna decide later this year once i get my sv out and start using her again. me thinks is a 640 really worth 200k of my hard earned money judge

ianqv i would say that's a fairly accurate sum up on prices, 4 years ago i sold a solid 87/qv for 42k, it took months to move, i'm sure values are firmer but not massively.

Countach's are definately on the up, the sv's will soon follow. In maybe three or four years the 640 will be worth potentially half what you paid for it.
