viper greeen one at gmundcars.com.... i know crazy money , but i am slightly in love !

white one is sold but considering a swop for my gt3 mk1......

logic... not a lot un truth . but more and more i think the 964RS is super cool and on the basis i do 2k miles a year
in the car i sense i might have more enjoyment looking at the RS, RS badge, air cooled , blah blah blah

I don't know the actual car, but have spoken to few people about it. I'm told it is a good one and last owner had Gmund and a another well know RS specialist trying to buy it.

I love the colour, but don't like the fact that somebody has put a roof aerial on it. This is a fairly minor point, but does distract from the originality of the car. There is some uncertainty as to whether it will be left as is or corrected and painted prior to sale. Trouble is a few years down the line a painted roof might be difficult to explain to an potential new owner. After all how many cars have their roof painted - only the ones that have turned over.....

I guess the answer is to have put right by an OPC and correctly documented.

Good luck

It was originally being brokered by www.911classic.co.uk/cars_for_sale.htm and posted on the Porsche Club GB forum back in December.

Have never seen the car but believe it is a nice example. Certainly rare in Viper Green. Have only ever seen 1 other Viper Green RHD 964 RS and it was a touring version for sale maybe 5 years ago in a little garage in Enfield.

If you are signed up to the Porsche Club forum its is discussed here www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=248099

My GOD!

That's my old car!! I Part-Exchanged it against my 993RS back in 1994!! I wondered where it went!

The sad thing is that I only got £34k for it when I P/X's it for the RS - wish I'd kept it now!

It was perfect condition when I had it - the only thing that it had done was some paint on the Near-Side rear wheel arch (track day skirmish) - but that was only very minor and was done by a Pukka "Porsche approved reapirer" so it should be indistinguishable from original.

Good Luck - it's a great car!
