'email me' not working?!

Ted,

I've tried emailing a fellow PHer via the 'email me' link on his profile, but this redirects me to the log-in page (even though I must be logged in already as I'm able to make posts). When I try to log-in again to compose the email I am given the 'oops, invalid username or password' message.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this some kind of fault?

Not aware of any faults. Not changed any cookie settings recently have you?

Don't think so, although it's always possible the girlfriend has mucked around with something.

Normally when I first open up PH I can make posts, email other PHers or anything else without having to consciously log on - I'm assuming I automatically log on when I open the site.

Now I can make posts successfully and as normal, but if I click on 'email me' on a profile it asks for me to log in. When I try to do this it tells me my password or username is wrong, which they definately are not (they themselves are both saved within the computer, so when I start to type my username it comes up with both the rest of the name and the associated password). By this I'm assuming the cookie settings are as they were before.

Actually, think I've got it sorted now. The auto-fill of my password was incorrect for some reason. No idea why
