Battery Charger / Cable
Discussion
I have seen a few posts regarding flat batteries. Although this has probably already been posted somewhere(current info is always useful for newbies!) you may be interested in knowing that you can save a few quid over pukka "Tuscan" jump leads by buying an Anderson 175A plug off ebay or from www.truckelectrics.com.
Marry this up to a cheapie set of jump leads and you are away laughing (just had to use mine over the weekend after a year of starting first time).
The femaile connector is under the car about 8 inches behind the front wheel arch on the near side. A wired plug covers the socket and needs to be removed first before the male Anderson plug can be fitted.
Felt sorry for the guy who had the nearside parked hard against the garage wall though!!!
