Hi Richard, In reference to your wheel search Ive just brought a 2003 C4S and I have no reason to suspect any changes have been made to the factory spec. The wheels on my car are 18 996 turbo2. Ive match these up with wheeels in the Porscheshop catalogue. If you do not have this the website is www.porscheshop.co.uk. Hope you are enjoying your car as much as I am with mine, Only had it a week.I have to say why would anyone feel the need to change any spec on this perfect car.

I know, my wheels do look good, but just want to put it back to standard. I have just put a k&N panel air filter on mine as the original was really dirty, I must say it does make a good improvement if you invest in one. It just runs a lot smoother and does seem to pick up quicker as well...thanks for advice on wheels, will have a look on porsche shop now.

Ive not even looked at the engine but it doe run very smooth anyway. The previous owner I was told via the merc dealer I brought it from was a seventy year old, they replaced the clutch. the cars done 35000 miles. The only pet hate is the conditions of the streets in this country you feel every bump. Its fantastic on smooth roads and the power and looks are great. How much was the filter and is it a normal thing to change this.As yours was dirty you would have change for a new one anyway but switch to better one, more air to engine??

I just changed mine as it was dirty anyway and thought why not put a K&N in tbh, it was around £70 and I got mine off ebay (even though it was new), only about 10 mins to check just unscrew all of the screw on the airbox and lift it out, so worth checking as mine was only serviced by porsche 2500 miles ago! How much did you pay for yours as only just got mine a couple of months ago?

I paid £40500.00 with a years warranty by the merc dealer. Its high spec with sat nav, heated seats, Park As and its a 6 speed manual in arctic silver. I was looking at an 02 C4S in yellow with 49000m and low spec but lost me bottle on the colour that was 39999.00 what about you

Dont think I did too bad tbh. Its a bit of a basic car, (No Sat Nav or heated seats), Full PSH apart from one, but I have receipts to say porsche parts were used, Arctic Silver, and 1 yr warranty from mercedes Benz (although they said I would get details through post on this, which I havent had yet, Is this same with you?) anyway got it for £36500.

That sounds really good whats the mileage. On buying the car it was explained that an offical warranty wasnt possible as there not a porsche dealership they gave me the top of the shop AA warranty which on reading looks good.
artic silver Great colour
Are you pleased with the car?
I bet you are. And I bet youve looked at it from all angles.
Ive been court by the wife looking back at mine.

Yes, its an awesome car aint it, I still cant believe Ive got one tbh!! The mileage was 27500 when I bought it and now she is sitting on 30,323. I probably paid less as no sat nav, but didnt concern me too much as I only thought i could afford a carrera 2, let alone a 4S!, so i took the view of buying it for what it was rather than the bells & whistles!

Dead right to be honest I brought mine with the view to the ability of resale, not for one moment am I contemplating selling yet but there are miles of the C2 and C4 on the market and probably for every 30 theirs 1 C4S. You got a right result with your one. I would have grabed it as before this car Ive never had SatNav anyway 27000 BARGAIN!!!!!
