USB to USB connection,wireless ?
Discussion
My home cinema amplifier has a usb in,for accepting mp3's to be played from the laptop... USB to USB.
Is there a wonder gadget that transfers usb to usb wirelessly ? , so in essence ANY usb device can be wireless,or am I 5 years ahead...
the cable coming out the pc is normal a type usb,my amp had the square type b male connection...if that helps
Also...My laptop has firewire / bluetooth , and my Amplifier has i-link , is there anything remote/wireless I can do there ?
I currently run a wireless adapter to 2 pc's in the house, could i run a usb cable from the amp to the wireless router using a usb/lan converter ?
help !!
many thanks for any replies..

The only thing I have come across is a USB access point, however I don't think it can be used in the way in which you intend to use it, the 1 I'm thinking of allows you to connect your X-Box to a wireless network.
My understanding is that there are essentially 2 types of USB connection, the A type is the end that plugs into the PC and the B type plugs into the device. While the cable allows data to flow in 2 directions, control of the data flow itself is normally from the PC or device at the A side, ie car stereo with usb key adapter to allow you to play music from a standard USB flash memory drive.

only problem is that the reviews weren't too impressive but something to watch out for.
