Doesn't seem to be coming from pedal assembly. Sounds like a creaking spring every time you press the clutch pedal down. I know there is no cable links here - any idea as to where this is coming from and how to cure it?

No performance issues - just sounds a bit 'girlie' before the roar of the engine kicks in!!

There is a pin that connects the clutch pedal to the master cylinder push rod arm and this eventually wares and creates that noise your hearing, poke your head under the dash and you'll see what I mean, very easy to change and costs pennies.

Might be worth having a spray up with WD40 around where the pedals pivot, hopefully that will do the trick. If it doesn't then it gets a lot more complicated, clutch fork etc.

Keep an eye on the release fork because all that weight that caused the wear on the squeeking pin will also wear out the release fork. New clutch time at that point.

So keep it all greased!

Hi...just wondering if you've managed to fix the squeaking clutch pedal yet? I've just noticed a similar problem on my Griff, and was wondering if there's an relatively easy fix for this.

Cheers,
