So, who's bought it and who's unsuprised that Blizzard seem to have drastically underestimated the number of people who are in the new areascausing it to lag like at pig?

Great fun though. Need to try to get to bed before 1am tonight...

Kinda tempted, but I stopped playing a few months ago as I couldn't spare the time to raid. I can't really see that Burning Crusade is going to fix that...

Enterance to outland is through the Dark Portal in Blasted Lands

If you've escaped the clutches of WoW don't go back!

Nah, it should only take you about 500 hours played time to get a character up to a level where he can play with the big boys

If anyone wants to create a Belf on Agrammar and join the Mooks Guild they are welcome Just a small guild used for playing fun alts really. Most of the members have lvl 60's in raiding guilds like Is Hard.

Toon called Scabrina is Queen of the Mooks. Usually logged in on Thursday evenings.

Do you mean this thread, Warcraft or life in general?

it is quite fun but it can take up a lot of time and is rather addictive - I played for about 2 weeks over xmas 2005 because I was at my parents house and my brother had an account.

It took me about 3 days to get my gnome to level 5 or 6.

WoW is pretty easy really. Like most games skill plays a part but tenacity plays a bigger one! Understanding that, unless you're able to spend 18 hours a day playing then there will always be someone better equipped and higher level than you is key to enjoying the game!

The most important way to get good at the game is to be in a guild that is friendly and helpful. That way the low-level instances* are a quick blast with a high-level to help and the end-game stuff is run regularly. Expect to swap guilds as you go up in levels

Pick a priest, druid, shaman (all healer classes) or warrior and you'll always have space in groups. Other classes can be a pain to get a group together for. Healers are harder to get going than most other classes and I find them a bit boring to play.
