check out fleabay, item no.180074883946. a pair of wildcat heads, with downdraught inlet manifolds, the guy is also selling 4x downdraught carbs and a performance distributor.
has anyone had any experience of these heads on the 5ltr rv8? i read about them years ago in ccc any they raved about them . im sure they are a direct swap for the rover heads?

It's not all plain sailing with these heads but they can be excellent. I noticed honest answers from the seller and he was dissapointed with the power he got and the seized rockers. Maybe his installation wasn't correct, who knows. Be worth keeping an eye on the bids though. For £3k he should have fitted air packers or air pumps.

The pair of Wildcat heads for sale on ebay look like those V8 Racing had on his race engine.
I believe one would have to machine new valve cut-outs into the top of the pistons, as the valves on Wildcat heads are nearer the centreline of the bore.
With the manifolds one could utilise throttle bodies or carbs which means modified the plumbing for fuel and water. Would make for a nice upgrade.

Did wonder afterwards if you meant something like that, never heard them called that before. That's another mystery solved.
Stelliga is a canadian so maybe it's a canadian thing. Think it refers to rootes type blowers.
