Anyone implemented it?

I know they have rolled it into sharepoint 2007, and was wondering how good it was..

Cheers

Yes. Have run earlier MS CMS solutions. It smells of old-man-widdle. I've always ended up just writing my own as the integration effort needed for it was so large, and you're left with a lot of "baggage" that the vast majority of clients won't need otherwise. It does depend on the individual needs, mind.

Not tried the CMS aspects of 2007 yet - will be doing for interests sake, I'm sure. But it's where CMS is going in the next 2-3 years that really interests me (content provisioning for Rich Internet Applications and Smart Clients - Flex/Vista/etc. content)

Thanks for the feedback.

We have a blue chip client who needs a good CMS, they will not go bespoke or even opensource.

We've used lots of CMSs' in the past, most recently immediacy, the issue is that it needs a lot of work to make it do the things we need it to and also hen handling a lot of different languages it is a bit slow (ie very).

I'm also keenly watching the CMS world over the next couple of years, I think things could get interesting, shame it'll be a bit late

I'm going to try and blag an afternoon at micosoft so they can show us whats what.

Cheers
