Suspect thermostat on my 2.9 s2 is shot - I have tried to get a new 82 degree one but everyone says they dont make them and I will have to use the standard 88 degree from a Granada. Anybody got any ideas where to locate 82 degree one?

I thought the correct one for the 2.9 was 88 deg???????
i got a 82 degree one from the ford dealer, got one for a 2.8i capri with mfi engine, not the efi model. cost £10
