Sorry if this is old news - oh and probably all irrelevant under the current circumstances - but I was nosing around the TVR site tonight looking for some info and I stumbled across the 'New' brochure which just has the Sag, Tuscan and Tuscan Conv in it.

Gone are spiders and in their place are some badly photoshopped wheels.

IIRC these appeared on one of the (ex) factory's press demonstrator Saggy's at the start of 2006?

They look like the wheels on the Black Press Car.

Very similar ones went on Vauxhall models so they where dropped....

I didn't realise they were using Ford indicator and wiper stalks? Whatever happened to the Aluminium ones?

They always have been but they had alluminium covers on.

I don't like the wheels - bit too pimped for my liking but al least you can change them easily. I would love a tuscan convertible but I wouldn't buy a non-blackpudlian one if I had the dosh.

Those wheels look yuk . . . car's colours are not that well chosen also . . . Not very creative there.

There is only ONE set of wheels that size, (two different sizes were bought) they were purchased approximately 3 years ago and used on various photoshoots. They came from 'R**stock' via China.

They are difficult to balance as the depth of finish is of differing thickness's

So it looks like a repeat of TVR's lazy approach to TVR styling i.e one wheel design is put on all their cars. Don't get me wrong, I think the spiders are great looking wheels, but nothing makes them look less distinctive than turning up to a regional meeting and seeing the same wheels on T350's, Tamoras, Tuscans & Cerberas.

The wheels on the Sag look good, but they definately do not suit the Tuscan at all. A list of performance wheel options would be better. ie which alloys would you like sir/madam?

I notice they have gone back to rear facing exhaust pipes on the Sag, I did always wonder how efficient the side facing ones would be?? Or is this old news?
