Driving home from Donington on Saturday I was stuck behind a numpty who when we entered the 30 limit slowed right down to 20. He then gradually increased his speed and as we passed the (well known and highly visable) Scamera we were travelling at 28/29 mph.

Imagine my surprise then when the camera released it’s dreaded double flash.

Now my question is…… Should I hope that this box is one of ones without a camera in it or should I hope that they do attempt to prosecute and see what the evidence shows?

It flashed at me again the following day (Sunday) when I was doing 29/30mph but only flashed when I had left the marked area.

Anna got flashed by a Truvelo doing 20 in a 30. The local police's response was "they all do that madam" so don't panic yet. She didn't get a NIP.

The 3 in the 40 section. The two just before the elevated bit and the one (up until this weekend) that was grey on the exit lane of the A4 on ramp.

I have seen them all go off with not a car in sight either going past them or coming towards them in the other carriageway...

Lmao! "they all do that madam".
Isnt that an admission of faulty equipment being used?
And in court they make such a play of how "infallible" the technology is...yeah right..pish!

If these are in the village I think they flash up your speed but I don't think they are gatso's as such just reminders. Were they on the section leading to the A50?

I was flashed by one on the A1 when I was doing 60. Thought I was going to get 3 points for 10mph under the speed limit.

I was tempted to get out and have words with it...
