My saving grace on any flight, especially longhaul, is a good set of Porsche mags to indulge in - my favourites in order of preference being GT Porsche and Total 911, followed by 911 & Porsche World. I didn't have the fore-thought to buy the Feb copies before I got to Heathrow, and by the time I had remembered knew from regular experience that WHSmiths there would disappoint.

Unsuprisingly, both branches of WHS at Terminal 4 had a pitiful selection of mags with only the Jan copy of 911 & Porsche World which I already had, so I boarded my flight to Hong Kong slightly miffed. 12 hours later at HK terminal waiting to change for my 10hr haul to Melbourne I was absolutely delighted and suprised to find a copy of both GT Porsche and Total 911 Feb editions in the 'Relay' store, $83 and $103 HK respectively, and they made the next leg of my journey just a little bit easier.

So come on WHSmiths Heathrow - if I can get them on the other side of the world then it shouldn't be too hard to stock Total911 and GT Porsche in our airports (and if its space they're short of they can get rid of some of the crap like Top Gear magazine, or Heat or vanity mags...). End of rant.

We're currently pushing WHS hard to stock us (total 911) in their 'travel' stores...we sell well in their High Street shops, but the two businesses are run independently...

I don't suppose you could all go in to your local train station WHS and ask them to stock it could you? ;-)
