Have connected up jump leads but engine will still not turn over. Should I leave other car running for a while then try to start again?
Reading on the dash says charge is 11.5v.
Any other suggestions before the call to dealer / RAC tomorrow

If your TVR battery is totaly flat, it will take a while to get something into it.
IMHO, leave the other car running for a few minutes while the jump leads are still connected and then get someone to keep their foot on the accelerator on the other car to increase the revs to about 2000rpm, keep it there and then try starting your TVR.
Good luck.

If you try to start it straight away, the jump start is trying to crank the engine over and charge the flat battery at the same time - no chance. Leave the two cars connected for ten minutes, hopefully by now the 'flat' battery will be reading over 12V and instead of being an extra load it will be able to contribute a little towards cranking the engine over. Keep the donor car revs up 1500-2000 rpm so that the alternator can achieve maximum output.

had the same problem with mine yesterday, just give it time for the battery to get some charge.

Do you have the plug connector thing just behind the front left wheel that you plug the jump leads into? If so, on mine it doesn't always get a good connection, so you might need to wiggle it around a bit to ensure it bites.

You should notice the voltage go over 13V if everything is connected OK, and the other car is running.
