removal of parts in 4.2 Cerbera

Can anyone advise on how to remove the following parts in my Cerbera:

Center Consul, back shelf,Helmet pod and head liner, any info will be appreciated

Headlining you can forget unless you want to break the back glass,its bonded to it.

Helmet Pod - Easy, 1 Wing nut accessible from the boot, above the petrol tank, behind all the electonic xontrol boxes.

Cemtre Console - You mean the thing down the centre that covers the transmission tunnel? Forget removing it, why do you want to remove it? But To get access to the underneath of it, there is 1 small self tapper on the drivers side, right at the bottom edge about level with the handbrale. remove this, remove the helmet pod and you can lift it up from the back.
Rear Parcel shelf -From inside the boot, above the fuel tank, and behind all the control boxes, there are some M6 screws with either wing nuts or nuts on them. remove them and the parcel shelf lifts out.

Really to do the job properly the head lineing needs to come out.I was in the same postion as you when i wanted to re-trim certain parts of the car.On the head lining seeing as its such a bastard job i left it.

theres no way Im going to remove my glass ...

So ...

if the lining was cut say 50mm from the glass would it not be poss to make the new panel
with a finished edge reinforced with a rod that could be glued in place to the flap of material?

goner have a bash at some stage!

Sid, have you received your new carpets yet, do they fit?
by the way i am glad i did not go and buy the new starter i was talking about, the one that was different to yours, it turns out that is the air con compressor!!!

airbourne midget should be able to tell you this, he has just ordered some black ones for fitting DIY.

Mars I am just in process in getting new carpets from www.autostyle.co.uk, I had all a samples back, nice carpets good TVR & Cerbera Logos, you fit your self and Cerb is easy to do.If you go to web site above you can do design, of your required carpets on line. The lad you want to talk to is Les, seems a nice southerner.

The website seems to deal only with mats. I'll give them a call obviously because i want all carpets, including those up the sides of the gearbox tunnel and forward of the doors.

Mars I am getting all the carpets except the two either side of centre consul and after getting out consul I know i can change carpet there now, just awiting delivery off Les, I will post pics on here when finished.
