Half the number that can fit on the grid - sure there will be more, hope there will anyway!

Those are the cars with automatic qualifications based on results last year.

All other cars need to qualify

They are the accepted automatic ones, be interesting to see who else comes a long.

If Rollcentre don't get an entry for LM then it will be the biggest travesty since Lord Knows When.

But, I suspect the fact they are running a French car will make them safe.

What does the "first/second/third" relate to at the end of each line?

no, as they didnt finish in a top position last year they dont get an automatic entry and will need to qualify. first you need to be selected for qualification though, but as they have had a decent run there they should be fine on that count.

the first / second comments refer to ALMS / LE Mans 24 etc positions last year i.e. top 2 get automatic entry

Actually rather less than half - 55 this year, don't forget.

Hi,

no need to qualify anymore. Out of the 55 entries, this year 28 are pre-selected - based on their performance last year, the remaining 27 slots (or more, if a pre-selected entry is not taken) are given away at the organizers discretion.

Cheers
