Removing fuel tank

I'm searching for the last 4 bolts that hold the body on my Griff. I know they're behind the fuel tank, so wondered if anyone knew how to remove it to save me removing all the carpet etc while searching.

Remove carpet from the tank,(above and loosen below)
Remove carpet from filler tube.
Undo jubilee clips around filler and remove filler cap/tube.
Remove tank holding straps(bolted through boot floor and rear baulkhead)
From under car, undo feed pipe to pump,now is a good chance to drain the tank if you want to. I left what fuel was in,
( I then put a 12mm bolt in the pipe and tightened jubilee clip back up)
Remove sealent where above pipe exits body work.
Disconnect fuel return pipe and again block off.
Disconnect overflow pipe from filler neck.
Disconnect fuel gauge sender wires.
ease tank backwards and it should be free,if there isnt much fuel in it , it should be quite light.

It isnt that bad of a job, and if you are body offing the it should be easy for you!!!

Most of that will be easy - there's no interior in the car as it's all at the trimmer.

I've already drained the tank - I needed the petrol for my generator!

Your not a lost cause then ~ theres still a bit of "tight Northern git" struggling to get out :-)
