Do you guys ever use your Apaches like this?

The Royal Marines strap themselves to the outside of theirs to rescue a fallen comrade;

Never heard of the U.S. forces doing that with an Apache. In that situation U.S. forces would most likely use MH-6 Little bird (killer egg) or MH-60G Pave Hawk (Black hawk varient) Helicopters.

Seems like strapping troops to an Apache is a bit desperate, I'm sure no other options were open and time was an issue to try for a rescue. In a theater of war you need to do what ever will get the job done!

YES guys, our boys got the job done, unfortunatly the outcome was not succesful. It's a credit to the training / comitment.

But we all wish they were home, this conflict is going no where, and me thinks the worst is yet to come.
