Silicone hose

Hi chaps where can i get the large hose`s from the plenum right down to the filter for my Chimaera. I have spoke to Tim at ACT they do them in black, but i would have prefered them in blue if possible.

Think you`ll only get em from ACT.


Recommend you buy one and cover it with heat resistant "tube" (Tim will tell ya better!). Looks okay and helps against the heat from manifolds....

As far as I am aware, they are only available in black. I have been after same in red for ages, no show.

Approx £120:00ish + V.A.T inc S/S clips, if I remember correctly.

It is acording to Mark Adams, when he was setting up my car last week, he said it is definiatly a worthwhile mod, coupled to his AFM £195.00 it can give you as much as 15 BHP.
The cost of all the pipe work, clips, and a heat shield from ACT was £137.00 inc vat.

We did originally supply them in various colours, but the manufacturers now need large quantity orders of any one colour, we are talking Pallet loads!! when the huge majority want black, another problem the coloured hoses were the same black material with a coloured sleeve which tended to fade with time, i always thought that black looks better, giving an original look.
